Signed book giveaway for anniversary of Mozart’s death
This Monday, December 5, is the anniversary of the day in 1791 when Wolfgang Mozart, the greatest composer the world has ever known, died at age 35. To commemorate the occasion, I’m giving away five copies of my new historical crime novel MOZART’S LAST ARIA, in which Wolfgang’s sister Nannerl goes to the Imperial capital to find out what really caused her brother’s death. Enter your name in the comments section of my blog and you could win a handsome trade paperback of the book, which is currently out in the UK and US. Signed and dedicated by me.

Finally 'Amadeus' has a successor. Read the secrets of the great composer's mysterious death.
Matt's ground-breaking award-winning

Matt – have read all your other works – awaiting this one and hopefully I’ll received a signed copy to add to my collection.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season!
Joseph D’Agostino is a big fan of both Matt and Mozart.
Joseph, you’re first into the pot for the free book — and you get an extra entry for making my day!
And Mike: a special extra holiday entry for you…I hope your book will arrive in time for you to read it during the festive season!
Matt-I have enjoyed your previous work, your blog and your facebook posts. My girlfriend, the English Professor, says I should read more. What better way than with a new free and autographed copy of your latest work!
Cheers,
VR
I’m a huge fan of your detective series and am eager to read this one!
Would looooooooooove to have a signed copy!!! And the choir Susanna and I are singing in is doing another Mozart piece next year
the Vesperae solennes de Confessore (KV 339). Hope you’re enjoying the pre-Christmas time!
That’s one piece of Mozart music, Angela, which I failed to incorporate into the plot of MOZART’S LAST ARIA. But I’m glad to hear that you and Susanna are singing from the works of the great man. And happy to include you in the little book lottery here!
Thanks for the chance!
I have already bought, read and enjoyed this book. But I wouldn’t mind upgrading it to an autographed version.
I would love to be able to read this book, even more to have an autographed copy. This would be a book to treasure!

I absolutely loved Mozart’s Last Aria & the dedication page is so beautiful! I just returned it to the library earlier this week. I would love to have a copy of my own. Thank you so much for the lovely giveaway!
If I win, will you sign it when I visit Jerusalem in the spring?
Oop! You’ve already said that it is signed.
hi, would you be kind enough to give me a free book? i’ve always receive free academic books, but not novel, looking forward to receive your book.. Merry Christmas
I was raised listening to Mozart and in early evening my dad would continue to play his music along with other amazing compossers. I am excited to read your posts and eager to read your facinanting book. Takes one to another dimension also your work is impeccable.
As MOZART was a genious, sublime and a mystery with beauty in itself.
thanks always
Zoey
Ellis, Here’s to an upgrade. And, Martha, glad to hear you’ll be arriving with the sunshine (after what passes for winter in Jerusalem.)
Oh, I would really love to have a signed copy of this book.
I love your books and enjoy reading them in English instead of the trasnlated version. But to have a signed one – wow, that would be the icing on the cake.
All the best,
Eva
If I’m not too late, I’ll take one (which I deserve as a writer and a music lover).
Looking forward to reading. But you shouldn’t mock winter in Israel — it’s just not European winter — it’s when everything begins to grow, like a cold, wet and grudging spring. After all, this is when Wordsworth’s daffodils appear
Definitely worth trying for.
Matt, love all your books!!
I really would like to have the copy of this great work! I can’t wait anymore to read it! so i would be so happy if i won! By the way, congrats for this very interesting novel,Matt!!! you had a great idea to write it!!
Happy to have so many responses so far. And of course everyone has until Monday night (which was when poor old Wolfgang finally expired, with a big jet of vomit and some apparently delirious words….Or were they? The lucky winners of my book will find out!)
I like your Omar Jussuf books and so I’m curious about what you made out of the Mozart theme
I’d love a free copy!

Melanie
Looking forward to reading your book!
My son Cai has completed the draw for the winners of my MOZART’S LAST ARIA book giveaway. As predicted, Cai’s name was the first out of the hat (which took some organizing, I’ll tell you), but he agreed to forgo a copy of my novel so long as I let him watch Charlie and Lola before bedtime. That left five copies for the lucky winners. “Five?” said Cai. “Why not more?” So I’ve made it seven. Here are the winners: Autumn, Amanda Dan, Carol Wong, Haim Watzman, Vado Retro, Zoey, and Melanie Coombes. Drop an email to mattreesbooks@gmail.com to let me know to what address you’d like your book sent. And to all the others who entered, thanks for being involved.
Can’t wait to read the new series!
